Microsoft Releases Windows 2000 Service Pack 2. (Service Pack 1 was
released around Aug. 2000) You will need this for your Windows 2000 server
and Windows 2000 Professional. It's over 100MB worth of files. I highly recommend
this update.

5/16/01 - Why Windows 2000. If
you're having lots of Win98 crashes and freezes and can't stand it any more,
I'd recommend upgrading to Windows 2000 Professional (workstation). I've ran
Windows 2000 here for the last 6 month and had very few crashes. The only
time I had problems is when I run out of memory when running 4-5 applications
at once. The only drawback of Win2000 is that it requires a fast machine (500mhz+)
and lots of memory. I had 256MB of RAM on my system and it was constantly
running out of memory. Upgrading to 512MB of RAM made it very stable. Now
I rarely ever see my Windows 2000 crash and I use it heavily on a daily basis.
